AccorHotels to open new Ibis Styles hotel in Dubai
The French hotel group AccorHotels has announced that it is has signed a management agreement to develop a new Ibis Styles hotel in Dubai. The property will be part of a mixed-use development in the Al Jaddaf area, and will be a joint partnership with Mawarid Finance who will have their headquarters on the same site.

by AccorHotels, one of the leading hotel groups in France, has announced that it will open a new hotel in Dubai, after signing a management agreement with Mawarid Finance.
The two companies will develop an Ibis Styles hotel which will be part of a mixed-use development in the Al Jaddaf area of Dubai.
Scheduled to open in 2018, the Ibis Styles Al Jaddaf will have 200 guest rooms, and will be positioned close to the upcoming Cultural Village project.
"This is an exciting step forward for Mawarid Finance. Al Jaddaf is an up-and-coming business district home to established brands and companies that we believe shall embrace the value and service proposition offered by the Ibis Styles brand."
Stated Mohamed Al Nuaimi, Managing Director and CEO of Mawarid Finance.
The hotel will cater for leisure and business travellers and will offer an array of facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby cafe, a modern fitness centre, swimming pool, and meeting room facilities.
"We are delighted to embark upon the development of such a differentiated project and bring to life the Ibis Styles Mawarid HQ."
Noted Olivier Granet, the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels Middle East. Mr Granet also explained:
"AccorHotels is committed to providing visitors with a variety of options, and we believe that the Ibis Styles Mawarid HQ will add a well-priced offering to Al Jaddaf, which is currently populated with upscale and luxury accommodation."
This will be the first joint partnership project between AccorHotels and Mawarid Finance, a finance and investment company who will also base their headquarters at the development.
With the new addition of Ibis Styles Al Jaddaf, AccorHotels will operate eight Ibis Styles hotel in the Middle East. It will be the third to open in the United Arab Emirates, after the hotel group opened the 251-room Ibis Styles Dragon Mart hotel and the 191-room Ibis Styles Jumeirah in Dubai.
AccorHotels operates more than 70 hotels in the Middle East, and it has over 50 hotels currently under development in the region.
