Luxury boutique hotel brand MGallery has opened its second hotel in Dubai in the old Bur Dubai district. One of a few five-star hotels in the area, the new Canvas Hotel Dubai MGallery by Sofitel brings 164 luxury rooms and suites to the Port Rashid area, alongside a signature Indian restaurant run by celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor.
After being renovated and returned to her former glory, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 1967 transatlantic liner has been converted into a glamorous floating hotel, now permanently docked in Dubai. Bringing to the emirate classic British maritime beauty and elegance with the possibility for guests to now be part of it all and soak up royal luxury, the renewed and revived Queen Elizabeth 2 is once again ready to shine.
Grand Millennium Dubai will offer its guests access to Zero Gravity. Guests at the five-star property will now have complimentary access to the beach and pool at Zero Gravity. A daily shuttle bus service will be available as well.
Emirates, Dubai's leading airline, has announced it will launch the world's first "biometric path" which will allow passengers to enjoy a stress-free experience at Dubai International Airport. The airline will use biometric technology with a blend of facial and iris recognition to check in for their flights, complete immigration process, enter the Emirates Lounge and board their flights.
Restaurants in Dubai's Rove Hotels will offer diners a discount in exchange for plastic bottles. Every Sunday, guests can exchange plastic bottles for everything from a cup of coffee to the main course. All bottles collected by the restaurants will be appropriately recycled.
