Wild Wadi Waterpark for the coolest pool around
This awesome waterpark is located in central Dubai, right in front of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. With over 30 rides and attractions, this is an adventure you won’t want to miss out on (especially if you’re travelling with kids!). The weather in Dubai reaches scorching temperatures from March - October, so you’ll always be searching for somewhere to cool off. At Wild Wadi, the whole family will be entertained. With top testimonials from lots of happy families, make sure you head here for a day filled with fun.
Burj Khalifa to see an iconic piece of Dubai architecture
The Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest building, and an amazing feat of modern architecture. Photos really don’t do this landmark justice, and it’s hard to comprehend just how tall it is until you go see for yourself. This incredible skyscraper is one of Dubai’s standout landmarks and renowned the world over. Make sure you experience the two observation decks you’ll find high up in this architectural wonder. The very top floor isn’t accessible to the public, however at 555 metres the top observation deck is currently the highest in the world!
The Dubai Mall for all things shopping related
Like most things in this decadent city the Dubai Mall is second to none, and is home to shops of over 200 of the most sought-after fashion brands. There are also so many things to do here other than shopping; have something to eat at one of the many dining spots, or check out one of the other many attractions which range from Kidzania to the incredible Dubai Aquarium or even the ice rink. There truly is something for everyone! So if you’re on the search for some perfect items for your wardrobe and want to spend hours perusing the best luxury fashion brands the Dubai Mall has to offer but also need to keep the kids happy, you can split your day between shopping and something fun that the kids will love too.
The Dubai Fountain for a dazzling water show
Another landmark in downtown Dubai, you’ll immediately recognise this city hotspot. Did you know the Dubai Fountain is the tallest performing fountain in the world? Sure to entrance visitors young and old, this immense fountain displays an immersive water, music and light experience. These daily captivating water shows are on every 30 minutes from 6pm so make sure you catch one of these shows in the most resplendent fountain in the world which is set right in downtown Dubai, at the foot of the Dubai Mall. Colourful jets and water dances in time to beautiful classical music and modern hits and if watching from the edge of the water isn’t close enough for you, you can get even closer on the Dubai Fountain Lake Ride. Make sure you don’t miss this magical experience!
Souk Al Bahar for a truly authentic Arab experience
The Souk Al Bahar is a lively and authentic Arabic market that you could get lost in for hours. Situated in the heart of downtown Dubai, you can reach the Souk by a bridge connected to the Dubai Mall which spans the Burj Lake. You almost couldn’t imagine somewhere with such a different feeling to the modern and luxurious Dubai mall, but the Souk is magical in a completely different way. A vibrant spot with lots of entertainment and places to eat, the Souk Al Bahar will hold a special place in your heart once you’ve been to visit and is a spot you won’t soon forget. This gorgeous ‘sailors market’ is perfectly created to help you travel back in time and get a true feel of the wonder of old Arabia. Make sure you have at least a few hours to spend here, and while you’re at it ensure you grab a snap from the vantage point overlooking the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain.
