There are now several places where people can take archery lessons in Dubai, but none are more delightful than Al Maha.

Scuba diving has to be one of the most thrilling and exhilarating activities you can choose. Plus, Dubai offers the most beautiful, spectacular and interesting dive sites in the Middle East. Whether you're a skilled and confident diver, a complete novice, or somewhere in between, this is a charming dive location not to be missed. Stunning coral reefs, fascinating and mighty shipwrecks, and a profusion of colourful and captivating marine life are all just waiting to be discovered on your Dubai dive.

Ski Dubai

Did you know it snows every day in Dubai? That’s if you’re looking in the right places. Dubai has achieved some remarkable technological advancements and one that benefits sport enthusiasts is the incredible, mammoth sized indoor Ski centre, which boasts real, fresh snow all year round. You can enjoy the winter delights all year round in the world’s largest indoor ski resort.

If you’re really looking to get that adrenaline going, then take a look at the more extreme sporting excursions:

Skydiving in Dubai

This activity has the supreme fear factor with hurdlers going from 0 to a maximum 201 kilometres per hour when freefalling from 13,000 feet as they leap from a Sky-Dive Dubai plane.

An inspiring, sport-filled holiday in Dubai coming your way

As you’ll have gathered, Dubai caters for all types of sports enthusiasts – you can even enjoy spectator sport in a live environment. Highlights include Dubai Tennis Open (February), Dubai Desert Classic (February), Dubai World Cup for horseracing (November) and Dubai Rugby Sevens (December).

If you’re a swim-a-holic and love to base your holiday near a pool whilst practicing your lengths, then you are about to discover some serious water-based fun, in the form of Dubai Wild Wadi waterpark. I seriously cannot stress how much fun this water park brings to your life. It is found in front of the stunning Burj Al Arab and it has a number of ginormous slides, a lazy river in which you can float about and their almost-vertical flume is one that is not for the light-hearted.

For me, I would like to combine the Archery and Skiing excursion and go to holiday to Dubai in November so I can book tickets to take part in their sporting activities. As you can tell, if you are one who has a passion for sport, seeking a holiday that will get your heart thumping, your legs working and your adrenaline going, you’ll be excited at the prospect of visiting the city of superlatives, where the sport is fast, the technology is phenomenal and the sports are vast and varied!
