Part of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel complex, Beachcombers restaurant is the perfect place to go for high quality casual dining with a lively atmosphere. There’s a large terrace area right by the beach, as well as an inside seating area, housed in a beach hut style building. If you want to take in the spectacular view of the Burj Al Arab, the terrace is the place to be.
Lunches are a la carte, while other meals are buffet style. Choose from a range of Asian cuisines to suit all tastes, including Thai, Malaysian, Chinese and Indian. Seafood is a particular speciality. You will also find some European options. Tuck into the generous hot and cold buffet, with its vast selection of meat, fish and vegetable dishes, or watch your meal being prepared at one of the cooking stations, where your food is cooked fresh to order. Finish off your meal with your choice from the impressive array of tempting desserts, including traditional British dishes, such as crumble and custard.
Being right on the beach, the restaurant is particularly popular amongst families with young children, and all the family is very welcome at Beachcombers. There’s a special children’s menu and buffet, with an ice cream machine and chocolate fountain, and a separate play room where kids can go and let off steam for a while and take a break from the heat outside. There’s something to keep children of all ages amused. Face painting and balloon modelling are favourites with the younger children, while older children love the gaming station. The family-friendly atmosphere doesn’t deter couples, who can enjoy a romantic meal in the quieter parts of the restaurant.
Beachcombers organises a range of special themed events through the week, including street food night, barbecue night and seafood night. There’s entertainment every day, including live music from the house band, roaming magicians and circus performers, fascinating adults and children alike.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the Beachcombers restaurant, and brunch is also a speciality - it is particularly popular on Fridays and Saturdays. For a special indulgence, treat yourselves to the bubbly brunch. Beachcombers restaurant welcomes non-residents as well as guests staying at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
