Comprising the world's busiest terminals in terms of passenger traffic, Dubai International Airport continues to receive a growing number of travellers from all over the world this year. According to reports issued by operator Dubai Airports, the air platform reached a sum of 7.85 million passengers in March, a 4.5 percent rise in comparison to 2017.
The Emaar Hospitality Group is offering a range of summer rates for guests staying at hotels under three of its brands in Dubai. The Dubai-based company owns the Address Hotels + Resorts, Vida Hotels and Resorts, and Rove Hotels brands. Guests can enjoy discounted summer rates and free nights at a variety of hotels across the city until September 2018.
Carnival Corporation has signed a partnership with Dubai-based holding company Meraas to develop the new Dubai Cruise Terminal. The cruise company is planning to use the terminal as its operations hub in the region, and will turn Dubai into a major regional maritime tourism destination. The terminal is scheduled to open in October 2020, and it will have two terminal buildings and a single quay which will accommodate up to three cruise ships at the same time.
